Some schools just aren’t as strict as others.
In India, a class of kindergartners are already experimenting with their hair. Their teacher says at first she was startled by the sight of her young students coming to class in different hair styles almost every other day. It’s as if they take scissors, hair and mix it up every night – although many styles are not actually cuts, but simply re-styling.
“Some come with spikes, some apply gel, some even come in colours like burgundy and brown,” the teacher adds, and it’s likely they’re inspired by Hollywood and Bollywood actors alike. Decades-old styles like mushroom, wedge, Chinese and boys’ cut are now passe!
Additionally in India, eauty salons now have hairstylists to cater just to kindergarten kids. The haircuts vary, depending on the shape of the face and the texture of the hair. And when the moms go to the beauty salon, it’s likely their five-year-olds could be accompanying them to get a new look.
