A happy and supportive salon team will always make it easier when your salon business is going through a bad phase. But Brian Honn, owner of H Design Salon in Minneapolis didn’t know it until Bravo’s reality show Tabatha Takes Over made him realize that.

Tabatha Coffey visited Minneapolis again during episode 7, to help Brian, a stockbroker, to save his business. Earlier, she had visited Jungle Red salon in Minneapolis which was the premiere episode for Tabatha Takes Over season 4.

Brian was extremely novice in handling a salon business. He did things which he thought right and really didn’t care about his employees and their suggestions. Moreover, he never thought he did anything wrong. Due to this attitude, his employees were frustrated and decided to go on a strike.

Insite of his unhappy employees walking out on Brian, he didn’t change his ways and now his employees were certain to go on yet another strike, one which could shutter the salon for good; until Tabatha came to their help.

During episode 7 of Tabatha Takes Over, the outspoken Coffey gave a much-needed reality check to business owner Brian Honn. She also interacted with his employees to inspire them to step up in order to save this salon business.

One of the most noticeable change during this episode was the big makeover that H Design Salon received. In fact, Tabatha and Brian’s employees joined their hands together to take out the trash from their salon to give it a new and fresh feel.

What happens when you have a salon owner who has a defeatist attitude and a passive-aggressive and negative way to deal with salon employees? This was how Bridgette Orcutt was treating her Salon Bridgette, until Tabatha Takes Over came to help her.

This week on Bravo, Tabatha Coffey had a massive challenge to motivate Bridgette, a mother of two, to take control of her staff and her salon business, if she didn’t want to close her salon.

During Episode 6 of Tabatha Takes Over, as Tabatha took control of Salon Bridgette, in Swedesboro, New Jersey, she quickly realized there were multiple challenges to deal with.

First off, the salon owner had a bad attitude. Second, the salon was in massive debt. Third, her stylists came to work unprepared. Fourth, Bridgette’s daughter Chelsea was a spoiled daughter who used to to get away with everything. Fifth, Bridgette treated her enabling mother like a maid.

After realizing all these challenges, Tabatha thought the best way to help this salon was to motivate Bridgette to change her negative ways so she can start motivating her team.

Thus, during episode 6 of Tabatha Takes Over, Tabatha made Bridgette practice on her horse, thinking it would help her to learn how to control others and hone her managerial skills.

Once, she was able to show some progress with the horse, Tabatha took her entire salon staff at the farm and had Bridgette take charge. After spending a day at the farm, Tabatha managed to bring out the boss in Bridgette as she began to find her authoritative voice.

Back at salon, there was a great teamwork amongst Salon Bridgette staff. Now they not only were inspired to do well but they also developed a good work ethic and followed policies and rules set by Bridgette for her salon.

Thus, Tabatha Takes Over transformed Salon Bridgette into a truly fabulous French chateau.

Tabatha Coffey visited Chill – a yogurt shop in Ventura, CA during Tabatha Takes Over episode 5. As soon as she went there, she realized Chill was making some very common business mistakes – no focus and no quality control.

Sande Cranford and Jim Wright had started Chill, because Sande loved yogurt. Her husband Jim runs a successful bar and Jim’s daughter – Shannon runs a successful pizza shop. So Sande decided to startup with a yogurt shop but her effort to turn her love of yogurt into a business failed miserably.

This is the second time that Tabatha visited a non-salon business during Tabatha Takes Over season 4. Earlier she had visited a gay club called Club Ripples in Long Beach during episode 2.

Tabatha realized that Chill’s products were low quality, their staff was unprofessional, and their business was unfocused. Moreover, owner Sande had no idea about the product beyond the fact that she enjoyed eating it. To make matters worse, Sande wasn’t in her business as much as she needed to be which gave her staff to do whatever they wanted at their will.

Thus, episode 5 of Tabatha Takes Over was all about helping Sande become a boss and help her to focus on selling fresh, homemade, delicious products since the frozen yogurt wasn’t working!

After talking to Shannon, Tabatha realized she made food products that tasted good and were of superior quality. Thus she suggested Sande to make Chill a coffee shop, which would offer fresh sandwiches and baked goods and do away with frozen yogurt. Not only did Sande agree to follow this suggestion but her staff was elated on this news.

If you watched episode 5 of Tabatha Takes Over you would have seen that Shannon is a trained pastry chef. Building on this asset, Sande and Jim have decided to turn Chill into a bakery where Shannon will be making all the baked goods.
