Long hair is considered a symbol of beauty, charm and grace in a woman and with good reason. Growing long and healthy hair is not very difficult, nor does it require expensive hair products that can empty your pockets.

Did you know that you really can grow long hair fast? All that’s required is a commitment to healthy hair practices and follow them seriously.

Trust me, if you follow the tips to make your hair grow longer naturally, you can grow hair from short to long in a matter of just weeks.

1. Keep your hair clean and conditioned by using high quality products that suit your hair type.

2. Avoid using brushes or combs as they tend to break your hair. Instead, finger comb your long hair; the resulting style would be worth flaunting.

3. Trim your hair every 6 weeks. That will help you get rid of damaged hair and split ends. Make sure you are using good quality hairstyling scissors while cutting hair.

4. Wet hair is fragile and sensitive. Be gentle with it, especially when drying your long hair or else it will cause breakage.

5. Follow a balanced and nutritious diet that has a good quantity of protein in it as it will promote hair growth and health.

If you follow the above tips for growing long hair, you’ll surely be able to flaunt your long hair and maintain a nice and smooth look as well.

Hairstylists working in a salon are prone to injuries. The most common injuries are wrist injuries and repetitive strain injuries. They are caused mostly due to the usage of hair scissors that are not ergonomic.

Hairstyling shears and barbering scissors are commonly used in salons. These are the routine tools used by stylists to accomplish their client requirements. However, using hair scissors made of cheap quality steel can prove fatal as they will lose their sharpness soon and also cause wrist pain.

It makes no sense to buy cheaper hair scissors and then lead a painful life. A better alternative is to switch to hair shears that are manufactured professionally and with good quality material. Such scissors are ergonomic and comfortable for your hands too!

If you are looking to buy professional hair shears, you should certainly checkout ScissorBoy shears. They are made from special Japanese steel and have a rockwell hardness of 63 HRC, which means these shears will stay sharper and durable for a longer time.

ScissorBoy shears are manufactured with precision and by following standards. The attention to detail while designing and manufacturing these hair scissors makes them an excellent choice for stylists who want to reduce wrist pain and prevent injuries.

These hair shears are available in various sizes and colors. The wide range of variety in their store allows you to pick a pair that suits your needs. These scissors are so elegantly sharp that you don’t want to put them down after you pick them!

If your professional hair shears are not made from good quality of steel, they will wear out soon. Apart from going blunt early, they will also risk your health. So switch to Scissorboy shears and avoid wrist pain and repetitive strain injuries.

Hair styling scissors are the constant companions of professional stylists. These tools are regularly used to create amazing hairstyles.

Hair stylist scissors can be classified in various categories. While some hair shears are used only to cut hair, others are used to make them thinner. Thus, every stylist keeps a variety of hair styling scissors in his scissor case.

The regular hair styling scissors are used to snip hair, but texturizing shears are used to remove bulk from hair and make them lighter. Therefore, texturizers have teeth as opposed to blades in the regular hair scissors.

The various types of hair stylist scissors can be seen in the presentation below.

Many of you out there are on the cutting edge (no pun intended) of hairstyle trends. You don’t need us to tell you that spicing up cuts can be fun – and a great way to put a personal touch into someone’s hair. BUT – are your scissors as much fun as you and your cuts are? Leave behind silly, boring shears and trade them in for these new funky-bladed tools.

If you want to make a statement, these funky scissors do it. And not only are they nice to look at, they feature ergonomic, off-set handles which are better on your fingers and wrist that straight handles are. We love the amazingly fun color and the added detail of the stripes. A lot of scissors come in different colors, but the stripes really add something dramatic!

I’ve watched a tonne of videos on how to layer hair, and i’m up to the point where I feel like i’m confident enough to know what to do, but I’ve seen some people either use scissors or a thinning blade to layer their hair.

Is there are different effect for either one and is one more damaging to the hair than the other?
*I have thin straight long black hair

I suggest using regular scissors to layer your hair. If you use thinning shears to layer your hair, you might thin out too much hair where it will not give you the desired style you are looking for.
