What was Christina Aguilera thinking of when she appeared for the Michael Jackson tribute concert in Wales, UK? What inspired her to go for unkept extensions that looked really wild? I was stunned when I saw her on-stage. Were you surprised with her choice of celebrity hairstyle as well?

The Emmy-winning star performed a couple of songs at the Michael Forever concert tribute in Wales, UK, to commemorate the late King of Pop. Though her choice of songs was good but her appearance wasn’t.

When she first appeared on stage, audience gasped at her appearance. She was wearing a skin-tight black leotard and her blonde extensions looked very wild. I wonder how she choose this celebrity hairstyle for this event!

The talented performer’s first number was Charlie Chaplin’s Smile which was a favorite of MJ. She then sang more songs and entertained the audiences which constantly made us realize that the king of pop Michael Jackson is no longer with us.

In the end, Michael Forever tribute concert proved to revive memories of MJ and his songs. However, the wild celebrity hairstyle of Christina Aguilera did surprise many. I wish I could go onstage and chop off her extensions using some barbering scissors.

Celebrity Hairstyle: Vanessa Hudgen...

Vanessa Hudgens was recently seen sporting extra long locks in Los Angeles. It’s strange because less than a month ago, she was seen in a shorter celebrity hairstyle.

Vanessa had cut her hair short for her role in the new flick Gimme Shelter. So when we saw her in long hair last week, we were surprised. We thought, how could she grow out her hair that quickly?

Since it’s impossible for hair to grow that fast, we believe she’s either using a hair wig or she has added lots of individual extensions.

Vanessa seems to love longer hair as she made her displeasure know about her short hair cut by saying “Honestly, I kind of feel like a soccer mom, but we’re going to let that go. There’s nothing wrong with soccer moms, but I’m only 22! I miss [my hair,] believe me, I do, but there’s nothing I can do about it.”

It turns out that to achieve her celebrity hairstyle; Vanessa along with her director went crazy. She says, “I grabbed the hair scissors and started cutting my actual hair. Then my director decided that he was going to grab the scissors, and he grabs a chunk of my hair and just chops it.”

Celebrity Hairstyle: Brooklyn Decke...

Brooklyn Decker looked red hot when she walked the ESPY Awards 2011 Red Carpet with a new celebrity hairstyle. Interestingly, the 24-year-old supermodel and actress chose a Jay Ahr leather dress that was red in color!

Brooklyn, who was one of the presenters during the show, looked fresh and natural with her tousled hair and minimal makeup.

Here’s how celebrity hairstylist Charles Baker Strahan’s created Brooklyn’s celebrity hairstyle:

  • “With Brooklyn, we started on second-day hair, which is typically better with short hair as it prevents it from looking too mature.”
  • “Using hairspray, I grabbed random pieces of hair, twisted them and flat-ironed the twists. This creates a slightly rougher wave texture.”
  • “I then back combed the root of the hair at the crown to give volume and pinned it back to create structure and lift around the crown of the head.”
  • “Using a 1 1/4” curling iron, I created a wave with the shorter pieces around the face to give a feminine, yet tough look. I then finished off the overall look with a little bit of the hairspray!”


Brooklyn kept her makeup to a minimum, as she preferred to focus attention on her leather dress. But her celebrity hairstyle got much attention as well.

You know that already. But she looked even hotter when she arrived for the premiere of Warner Bros. Pictures “Horrible Bosses” in Los Angeles.

She rocked a shoulder length bob when she walked the red carpet. She not only looked sexy but also talked about her role in the movie.

Jennifer Aniston hairstyles have always been a subject of inspiration for many women. Many of them have spent lot of time in salons to copy her trademark celebrity hairstyle that she sported during Friends.

During the premiere of her new movie “Horrible Bosses”, Jennifer was the centre of attraction with her center-parted blonde bob that just brushed her shoulders while shorter pieces framed her face.

In her new film, Jennifer Aniston’s character is one you haven’t seen her play before. She’s plays a dentist who sexually harasses her assistant. Its definitely a raunchy role which we recently saw Cameron Diaz play in “Bad Teacher”

Only time will tell how Horrible Bosses is received by the audience, but Jennifer Aniston’s bob is surely rocking!

Miss USA 2011 winner – Alyssa...

Miss California emerged victorious in the 2011 Miss USA beauty pagent, edging out 50 other contestants from all around the country.

Alyssa Campanella is now known as Miss USA. She was also the first runner-up in the 2007 Miss Teen USA pageant.

The red carpet procession commenced with special appearances from Farouk Shami, founder and chairman of Farouk Systems, official hair care sponsor of the Miss Universe Organization, the hosts and judges of the 2011 Miss USA Pageant and 35 former Miss USA title holders.

Shami walked the red carpet with 2010 beauty queens Miss Teen Kamie Crawford, Miss USA Rima Fakih and Miss Universe Ximena Navarrette. He was interviewed by Robin Leach, Alhurra Television and other news outlets before watching the 60th 2011 Miss USA Pageant from the front row.

“All the contestants looked beautiful,” said Shami. “Next, Farouk Systems will be at the Miss Universe pageant in Sao Paulo Brazil in September.”

As Miss USA 2011, Alyssa Campanella will go on to compete in Miss Universe 2011 on September 12, 2011 in Brazil.
